ACUs - Accessory Commercial Units

Neighborhood Workshop coined and popularized the term, ‘ACU – Accessory Commercial Unit’ as a low-cost commercial income-generating opportunity, which has been covered in the articles below. Additionally, Raleigh, NC recently adopted a new ACU Ordinance that allows these types of structures in their residential zones.
